4. Art Fair 2017

For this year, aside from the local and resident artists, Art Fair will feature critically acclaimed Filipino artists making waves on the international scene, such as Jose Tence Ruiz, Dex Fernandez, Patricia Perez Estaquio, Agnes Arellano, Elmer Borlongan, Emmanuel Garibay, Mark Justiniani, Maria Jeona Zoleta and Mark Valenzuela. Also for this year, Art Fair will have ’10 days of Art’ that will begin Feb 9 until 19 in various museums and spaces around Metro Manila. Also, James Nares’ “Street”, the highlight of the 10 days of art, will have its Asian premiere screening that will be projected at Ayala Triangle.

5.Celebrate Arts Month at The MET

In celebration of the National Arts month, Metropolitan Museum of Manila will host series of events, such as Pasinaya Festival 2017, a festival in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Philippines which open doors this Feb. 5 at 9 AM until 4 PM., then on Feb. 11 at 2 PM, Maria Jose Arjona will take the spotlight as she talks about her body of work, and graces the launch of her exhibit. On Feb 18 at 2 PM, Ronald Ventura will have a talk about his creative process and his exhibit, Shadow Forest: Encounters and Explorations exhibit.

6.Salvador Dali Exhibit

Hiraya Gallery exhibits Salvador Dali’s 24 original prints this month at the Mezzanine of Makati Shangri-La. The exhibit includes engravings from the series ‘le Bestiaire de la Fontaine Dalinese’ and Dante’s Divine Comedy.
